WIN - Hand Painted Pants
NPO is a great local charity in Beppu, their educational philosophy is “creating a safe space for children” and “supporting each child individually, learning and growing together.”
Within this environment, children proactively challenge themselves in activities based on their “likes” and “things they want to do.” They also run a free school, they provide free art classes, a children’s cafeteria, and frequently plan children’s events.
It’s a very good support for parents that are working a lot and they provide creative outlets for the youth and motivate them to express them selves everyday!
NPOは別府にある素晴らしい地域チャリティーで、その教育理念は「子どもたちのための安全な居場所づくり」と「一人ひとりの子どもに寄り添い、共に学び成長すること」です。この環境の中で、子どもたちは自分の「好き」や「やりたいこと」に基づいた活動に主体的に挑戦しています。また、フリースクールを運営し、無料のアート教室や子ども食堂を提供しているほか、頻繁に子ども向けイベントを企画しています。共働きの子育て世帯にとって非常に心強いサポートであり、子どもたちに創造的な表現の場を提供し、日々の自己表現への意欲を引き出しています！

I really wanted to do this project, Beppu has given me so much in the last few months since I have been here, the people here are beautiful and inspirational.
Beppu has a great art community that has been very welcoming, helpful, talented and diverse.
The prize for the raffle are these pants that were dyed by Kotomi Chan in the onsen, before she left Beppu to continue her studies in the Netherlands.
She gave the pants to More Kun and I to paint on. I can’t think of a better way than this to release the pants! Hopefully we can raise some money for the children and get them some new instruments or art supplies, or maybe some books!
私はどうしてもこのプロジェクトを実現したいと思いました。別府は、私がここに来てからの数ヶ月間で本当に多くのものを与えてくれました。ここの人々は素晴らしく、インスピレーションを与えてくれます。別府には、とても温かく、親切で、才能に溢れ、多様性に満ちた素晴らしいアートコミュニティがあります。ラッフル（抽選会）の賞品は、ことみちゃんがオランダでの学業を続けるために別府を離れる前に、温泉で染め上げたパンツです。彼女はそのパンツを、もーくんと私にペイントするように託してくれました。このパンツを手放す方法として、これ以上に思いつくものはありません！この取り組みを通じて少しでも資金を集め、子どもたちに新しい楽器や画材、あるいは本を届けることができればと願っています！
On the Day
THIS IS A GREAT PLACE
I hand picked some great local musicians/friends and artists. To have an improvised jam session with in a basement at a local artist cafe called Olovo that More kun and I have also been painting on the walls at! We have More Kun playing the double bass, Gucci Kun the human beatbox providing the drums, Nanami Chan and I on the vocals, Asumi Chan did the filming, her and I did the video editing and animations together.
私が厳選した、素晴らしい地元のミュージシャンや友人、アーティストたちと一緒に、地元のアーティストカフェ「Olovo」の地下室で即興ジャムセッションを行いました。Olovoは、もーくんと私が壁画のペイントも手がけた場所です！メンバーは、コントラバスのもーくん、ドラム担当のヒューマンビートボックスのグッチくん、ボーカルのななみちゃんと私です。撮影はあすみちゃんが担当し、動画編集とアニメーションは彼女と私で一緒に手がけました。
